EthicSA seeks French speaking Project Consultant
The Ethics Institute of South Africa seeks to apoint a project consultant to assist in planning ethics promotion and corruption prevention programmes in French speaking Africa.
- A successful candidate must be fully proficient in written and spoken French and English.
- Proven capacity to translate works in English to French and French to English is required.
- Proficiency in Swahili is preferable but not required.
- Demonstrated interest in the fields of ethics and corruption prevention will be highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of Francophone Africa, in particular the DRC and Senegal is preferable but not required.
- Remuneration is negotiable, within the context of budget constraints and the type of appointment. (Depending on the candidate, the appointment may be full- or part-time, or on a short term contract basis.)
- Work will include travel to various African countries.
- First engagements are planned for mid-July 2009.
